2007 on Pace for Record U.S. Death Toll in Iraq
In Iraq, 2007 is on pace to be the deadliest year on record for U.S. troops since the invasion more than four years ago. According to the Associated Press, at least eight-hundred-forty- seven American servicemembers have died in Iraq this year. With less than two months left it’s the second-highest annual U.S. toll of the Iraq occupation.
