How Soccer Explains The World

by Franklin Foer
Read this book and you will not be disappointed. Foer goes into great detail to show how soccer affects politics and life around the globe. This book is full of insightful analysis that range from soccer thugs in Serbia who helped organize troops to commit atrocities during the Balkan War to hooligans in Scotland that hate each other due to religious differences-Protestants vs Catholics. In short, this book is quite entertaining and worth every penny.

FSTV

Free Speech Television
If you have access to this great channel I suggest you check it out. Not only does it have comprehensive news stories covering a wide array of topics but it also presents the whole issue raw and uncut. Today I watched an hour-long program called “Keynote.” This show featured one half of the hip hop group M1 of dead prez talking to students differentiating the history of the black power movement and the civil rights movement. To say the least, this channel never disappoints.
